The garden at Kilninian Schoolhouse is a haven for wildlife and the countryside around provides a diverse mix of habitats, from the sea shore to the hill summits.
The surrounding farmland is grazed by Scottish Blackface sheep and the distinctive Highland cattle.
If you are patient and lucky you could see a Golden Eagle from the window or a short walk to the beach could reward you with a sight of the Otters.
